Day 3, Sunday, March 2

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)

Pray that we at the retreat would be inspired to dash forward, set our eyes on the finish line, and go onward to the mark. Ask the Lord to set our hearts ablaze with a focused, holy ambition! Pray that we would shake off the bands of laziness and idleness that hinder our run towards knowing God more and more. May God take our hearts and use this retreat to give us one passion in life—to press on for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus! Keep us, keep us, Lord! Keep us abiding and our eyes on you.
