While the gospel never changes, how we share it might look different for different people. As a result, we have a lot of different evangelism activities going on to equip every person at First Free to share their faith. For more information on any of these activities, please contact Pastor Lucas.
Opportunities for Evangelism
Tuesday Morning Prayer Meetings
Strong prayer equals strong evangelism. Come to the Library on Tuesday mornings to pray for the lost. We’ll meet from 7 to 7:45 am and pray for our unbelieving friends, family, and co-workers, and the work of our missions partners all over the world.
International Student Ministry
First Free partners with Randell and Katy Harms and Rod and Joyce Bevan of International Students Inc. at Wichita State University. There are many students waiting to be matched up with American friends. Would you like to befriend a student? Contact Rod or Randell and start a friendship that could be a huge blessing to someone from the unreached parts of the world! Learn more>>>
Evangelism at Events
Periodically, a team of people from First Free goes to big events in the city, such as the River Festival, to talk with people about Jesus. Let Pastor Lucas know if you'd like to join them.
We believe that through church planting, more people will hear the gospel in Wichita. We partner with a number of local church plants that are helping to bring the gospel to their neighborhoods.
We offer a number of Sunday morning elective classes, such as Evangelism and Other Faiths, Everyday Evangelism, and Apologetics in Evangelism, to help equip our body to share their faith clearly with others.
Two Roads Gospel Booklet
This small booklet explains the gospel clearly and is helpful to use with either a close friend or a stranger. Copies are available at the Welcome Center or from Pastor Lucas.
Need a Bible to give to a person who doesn't have one? We have some on hand to give away that you can pick up at the Welcome Center or from Pastor Lucas.
