2020 Missions Trips Interest Meeting

One of the ways to love the lost compassionately is by partnering with the church in missions. If you’re interested in one of our short-term trips in 2020, join us for an interest meeting over lunch on November 3. We’ll be talking about our 2020 trips in detail, the requirements for going, and answering questions you may have. Please let us know you’re coming by signing up online or calling the church office.

2020 Budget Forum

Sunday, November 3, 5 pm, Room B3
Our 2020 budget will be voted on for approval at our next Members Meeting (November 17). To give you a chance to preview that budget and ask questions, we will have a Budget Forum on Sunday, November 3. Come learn more about how your giving is spent toward our mission of making disciples!

Traditions Tea

Saturday, November 9, 12:30-2 pm, Courtyard
Women of all ages are invited to a luncheon tea on Saturday, November 9, from 12:30 to 2:00 pm in the Courtyard. Join us to honor our senior women and express our thankfulness to them for their godly example. You can reserve your spot by signing up online or at the Women’s Ministry Table, or by calling the church office. Childcare is by reservation only and is available through age 5. Registration deadline is Monday, November 4.

There are also opportunities to serve our senior women by volunteering to help with the Tea. Email Jo Coltrain to learn about the variety of ways you can serve!

A Closer Look

Take a closer look at First Free! This 3-week intro class covers our mission—what we do; our methods—how we make disciples; and our message—what we believe. If you’re looking for  ways to engage in the life of our community, this is a great next step. Please sign up online or call the church office to let us know if you plan to come. Questions? GriefShare—Surviving the Holidays

Grieving the loss of a loved one? Join Pastor Phil for this DVD/discussion group to help you navigate the holiday season. This session will provide practical holiday coping strategies and hope for brighter days ahead. Cost is $10 and includes a Holiday Survival Guide. Register online or by contacting Pastor Phil. The deadline to sign up for the November session is Sunday, November 10.
