Missions Weekend is coming up on June 27-28! Our special guests this year include Sam and Sharon. Sam and Sharon have been First Free missions partners with ReachGlobal in India since 1995. Sam was born and raised in India and met Sharon in the States while working with international students. After getting married in 1973, they’ve been involved in numerous ministries in India, including starting a church planting institute and anti-trafficking initiatives. We hope you'll join us for the following events during Missions Weekend.

Saturday, June 27 
Sharon will be leading a special anti-trafficking seminar on Saturday, 10 am-noon, for those interested in learning more about what’s going on in Asia and Wichita with human trafficking. We'll also provide refreshments and an opportunity for you meet Sharon before the seminar from 9:30-10. You can sign-up for this seminar on Sundays, June 14 or 21 or you can email Pastor Curt. Childcare is available through 5th grade with registration.

Sunday, June 28
On Sunday morning, Sam will be preaching in our special missions-focused worship services. Then Sunday evening, we’ll have our 4th annual “Trip Around the World” event at 5:30. The Chinese church will make a delicious Chinese meal, and we’ll have five of our basement classrooms transformed into different countries to learn about five different ministries! Cost for the Trip Around the World is $3 per person or $10 per family max. Space is limited so reserve your "passport" for the evening on Sundays, June 14 or 21. Childcare is available after the dinner through age 4 with registration.

We’ll also be launching a new ministry at First Free---Missions Partner Care Teams. Our goal is to have three individuals or families form a care team for each of our missions partners. The care teams will receive the missions partner's newsletters, pray for them, and send care packages. This will help build a network of encouragement between our body and our missions partners by giving you an opportunity to be involved!

Many of our other local and global missions partners will be in town for the weekend as well. Be sure to stop by their tables in the Courtyard on Sunday morning!
