Missions Trip Application

Short-term missions trips are an opportunity for you to build partnerships with our missions partners that go beyond praying and financial support. You'll see first-hand how God is working through these ministries and be a part of the gospel going wide to all peoples! If you are interested in learning more about joining a short-term team in 2024, contact Pastor Lucas

Cyprus with Avant Conference

June 22-29, 2024 - This trip is full.
The missions organization Avant holds an every-other-year conference for its workers to be refreshed and connect with each other. The adults will have teaching sessions separate from their children. The children will be divided into age groups and our church will teach and lead a program for kids 10–12 years old. There will be approximately twenty children in this age group, and we are looking for four adults to go on this trip to facilitate the program.

Moldova/Romania with Mark and Vlad

Summer 2024
Our team would partner with a local church in Moldova or Romania to reach out to their community. We would work to host a VBS for children and run an eyeglasses clinic for adults and others in the community. As we fit people for glasses, the pastor and others at the church will share the gospel with the people and speak with them. There is no need to be an optometrist to go on this trip, we can teach you how to fit people with glasses before we go.

Tokyo with Sarah Roberts and Shige and Luann Nakazawa

May 2024 - This trip is full.
We will join Sarah and her team in ministry to college-age students through English chats. As we do this, we will learn more about Japanese culture and spend time encouraging the kingdom workers there.

US Crisis Response with ReachGlobal

April 21-27, 2024 - This trip is full.
Crisis Response is a ministry of ReachGlobal and the EFCA that helps to organize and mobilize believers across the country to serve local churches and homeowners after crisis. When a crisis strikes, they are committed to physical and spiritual transformation, and they work to rebuild lives and communities by sharing the hope of Christ – all through the ministry of a local church. First Free would organize a team of people to travel to one of the crisis sites (affected by a natural disaster) and help to assist homeowners with home related or community projects.
